my son will be 14 and needs braces, does medicaid cover some or all of the cost? i dont have regular health insurance for him. if it dosent, do you know where i can go to find them kindof inexpensive? thanks so much!

This was all changed over the last few months. Medicaid stopped paying for any kind of medical work at all You have to be reevaluated and it goes through Social Security Insurance first, then Medic aide. Lot's of paper work and BS.

Your best bet would be to see if there are any orthodontists who offer to do occasional pro-bono cases or to see if there are any schools training orthodontists where they may need people to volunteer to be worked on by students.
