This question is for a vet or someone who has had a cat with a broken leg...How much does the vet cost to get the leg fixed? I am taking her tomorrow(it just happened today) and i wanted to know about how much money i will be spending. I'm pretty sure it's broken or it might just be sprained. Thanks in advance.

gitana_diosa - I have to wait till tomorrow because i called the vet he is busy and there arn't many vet offices around where i live (only one) the next closest one is about 5 hours away and i figured my cat is not gonna like that long of a car ride.

I have a cat right now with a broken leg. It was a stray that I took in from our local shelter. She has had the cast on for 6 weeks, with 2 more weeks to go. So far, I spent about $200 for vet visits, x-rays, and medicine. It will probably cost one more visit to have the cast removed. The biggest expense seems to be in the xrays. But she is doing great and is starting to perk up!

Call the vet's office you're going to tomorrow and ask them to give you a rough estimate of how much it will cost. It'll take them 2 minutes to whip you up an estimate. They you'll have a better idea of what the cost will be.

it depends on the vet. two vets down the street from each other can vary in price dramatically.

Get it in to a vet NOW!!! How would you like to wait 24 hours to be treated for a broken leg? If you wont pay to have it fixed bring the cat to the humane society and they'll give her proper care!
