Please check with your doctor. I could be an impingement (where an inflamed nerve is getting caught) and it can actually be from problem in your neck. Please don't disregard it, its something a doctor will need to do x-rays for. Good luck.

Answered a question similar to this one before and although I can't say I've had that sensation in my arm I can say that numbness or tingling may mean nerves have been injured, stretched, or pinched or that swelling is putting pressure on nerves. In any case it would be best to go to your GP and find out the cause of the numbness and go from there.Do not leave it and get seen sooner rather than later,if anything just for peace of mind.

It could be a pinched nerve from the cervical vertebrae or a carpal tunnel syndrome or it could be something a little more serious like a heart problem. What you have to do is get to a doctor right now, Tell the receptionist what the problem is and I'm sure she'll get you right in and, good luck.

It sounds like you have either pulled a muscle or trapped a nerve for both you need to see the doctor so he can examine you properly and treat you.
I would never second guess anything as it could be a number of things please go to doctor to rest your mind and get it sorted.

I have had this for the last month or so and the Doctor told me it is a trapped nerve, she prescribed Ibuprofen, but do get seen by your own Doctor.

Visit an osteopath - it sounds as if you've put something out in your neck and the vertebrae is pressing on the nerve.

definatley go to the doctor. it sounds simular to repetative strain injury which is an umbrella term. If you have free healthcare like I do throughout europe and australia then we have a number you can call up 24 hours and a dedicated nurse will get back to and advize you.
