My bella is 4 years old she had her first litter of kittens this august past. In three years we lived with her meowing and moning . She got pregnant this june past because my 3 year old daughter left her out. I have had it with her meowing. I love my cat very much. I don't know if it will help to get her spayed at this age. Please help

i don't hate meowing. I would like for her to meow normally not all night when i'm trying to sleep.

Yes of course you can get her spayed at 4 years old. It's not going to harm her and it will stop all that noisy meowing every few weeks or so.
It's also much better for her - as I was told that female cats shouldn't call continuously for a long period.

It's perfectly safe to fix a 4yr old cat. It will stop her from going into heat, so she won't do the incessant meowing anymore. If she were older, say over 7, you'd have to consult with your vet about the increased risks of anesthesia (which would be true of any operation she needed, not just spaying). That's the only risk really - anesthesia... but again... if you need her teeth cleaned, if she needs some other medical surgery, etc... it's all the same risk.
She'll be fine. She'll be relieved of the stress of going into heat and not "gettin' any", you'll be relieved of her meowing, and the world will be relieved of the bazillion future kittens she could produce - all adding to the incredibly huge problem of overpopulation.

A cat can be spayed at almost any age, some humane shelters are even spaying very young kittens. The only age at which a vet would be reluctant to spay would be if the cat was elderly AND/OR if there were other medical problems serious enough that made it dangerous to risk doing surgery on the cat.

yes it is fine to spay her. just a warning it may not stop all the meowing. my cat was neutered at age 4 months and 5 years later he is still waking me up in the middle of the night meowing

By all means have Bella spayed. You will love living with a cat who doesn't moan and carry on. As long as they're healthy any cat can be spayed after 6 months old on to "retirement!" Good luck!

It would not sound like she replaced into spayed. i might take her to a vet (no longer the guy who spayed her the 1st time) and ask. I relatively have 3 cats basically one is female and she or he replaced into spayed while she replaced into youthful and not in any respect is going into warmth or screams. My guess is the two she replaced into never spayed in any respect or she has something else incorrect along with her.

I would get the cat spayed...The problem might happen again, and you'd have more kittens. If you don't want the meowing, maybe you shouldn't have a cat.

Yes, you can get her spayed at this age, it shouldn't be a problem.
Call your vet and speak to him/her regarding any concerns you might have regarding the surgery. Spaying her will be better for her in the long run, healthwise.

I adopted a 4 yr old cat from SPCA this summer. They spayed her before they would let me adopt her. She turned out fine.
