Juan La Porte vs. Brian Mitchell who wins?

In my opinion, hands down Brian Mitchell wins this bout by knockout in the 9th round. Brian was the much sharper puncher and hit the harder of the two. Mitchell was a complete work horse and could take as well he he could give.
This fight would be a tactical fight in the beginning and Juan's biggest mistake would come when he tried to slug it out with Brian. Juan would throw accurate body shots but would find that every time he did throw the left hook to the body he would be countered over the top with a Mitchell right hand, this would cause severe swelling and possibly cut La Porte over his left eye.
This fight would be a grueling affair for both fighters both would be caught with punches that would knock down any middleweight, but Juan would deffintely get the worst of it. Brian would catch a very tired and very beat up La Porte on the ropes and unload thunderous body shots of his own the com over the top and the referee would have no choice but to stop the fight in the 9th.
This would be a great fight, one great fighter and one very good fighter, Mitchell never got the full respect he truly deserved. Thanks Brent.

Great question sir! This would be a great fight while it lasted with some serious bombs thrown and landed by both fighters. La Porte probably fought a higher level of competition and was in nearly every fight in his career. He was very durable and tough and could throw a pretty mean punch too! Mitchell I believe is a little more of better overall fighter with quicker hands and power. I believe that there would be several close rounds but by round 11 Mitchell would stop La Porte and win by TKO.
