My right eye twitches really often. I've seen the doctor for this but he just told me that it's probably caused by either dry eyes (since i use contacts) or too much stress. Is there any way to stop the twitching? It happens everyday, just won't stop. Could this be an early sign of stroke? Please help.

This is from tiredness/stress. You need to take time out from reading too much and computer etc. and do some stuff to relax you. Go to bed earlier then your eye should stop twitching.

I'm no doctor but I think it relates to fatigue. My left eyelid twitches whenever I get extremely exhausted. A relative of mine gets it too. She also attributes it to exhaustion, but if your twitching is chronic it may be something else.

Mine does this too, sometimes. It's a muscle spasm just like the hiccups or a charlie horse. You might try wearing your glasses for a few days just to see if your eye may be trying to reject your contacts. I have to do that sometimes. Then you can go back to the contacts.

a stroke what??????? No you're probably straining your eyes too much and overexerting them...I don't think it's early signs of a stroke.
