Hi i am in southern il close to st. louis i am looking for a yorkie for our family we cant afford a breeders price and none of the shelters seem to have any i have looked at petfinder but have had no luck any suggestions?

LOL I've never seen the words cheap & yorkie in the same sentence. I just paid $5000 for mine on monday. I can't pick him up until Friday though. He's 13 weeks and 15 ounces. So, for the answer to your question, no, I've never seen a cheap yorkie..

Sorry,but I'm afraid this will probably be an impossible task for you,as all Yorkies aren't cheap or free.You may try any local animal shelter,but doubt you will ever find one of this breed free or cheap.

If you can't afford the original purchase price, how are you going to pay for the dog's future care? Food, eqipment, vet bills... Owning a dog is expensive.
