Is there any differences in the texture between slow frozen food and fresh food?

Slow frozen will probably muck up the texture. Flash freezing is best. With slow frozen more moisture stays in membranes for too long. It's not poisonous but will affect texture, mushy probably due to the water content. Freeze in smaller portions so they freeze faster.
