I will be transferring to PSU State College in Fall of '07. Right now I am going in as an English major, but I would like to have one, if not two, minors as well. The four minors that I have been considering are Technical Writing, IST, Public Relations, and Spanish. If I were to pick two of these, which would you guys recommend I go with. I am at least somewhat interested in all of these subjects. I would really be interested in the opinions of people who are familiar with PSUpark, but I am also curious to hear from anyone working from the degrees I've mentioned. Thanks!

PS I do not want to teach with my English degree, or at all for that matter, so no point in mentioning teaching at all in your responses! LOL

Depending on what you want to do, one of the minors could be public relations or Technical writing. The other minor should be Spanish. You will use it extensively no matter what business you are in.

Best of luck.

An English degree is worth little unless you plan to teach. You might consider a double major with journalism or professional writing.
