He is very lethargic to very active, he loses control momentarily of whether he goes to the bathroom or not once in a while, he won't eat, he won't drink. He isn't mine so I can't do anything with it, which bothers me. He also seems like he is very sore a lot of the time. The neighbors won't do anything and neither will animal control. He is very young, maybe around a year, and I believe he is either a German Shepard Chow-Chow mix, or a German Shepard Shar-Pei mix. Please help-what do you think this "disease" is? I really need to know! Thank you!

Call the cops and report him for animal abuse, if your city has a Humane Society they may be able to come out and look at the dog and see if it needs medical care. If I were you I would pursue this and make sure your moronic neighbor gets his!

If this pet won't eat or drink it could possibly be very sick with parvo or other type of disease. It is evident that his sugar level is too low,or it wouldn't be lethargic and would be eating. It could posibly have a urineary tract infection. This pet needs imediate attention.Call your local humane society or nearest ASPCA.Don't attempt to take control of this pet yourself as several things could be wrong with this pet.Make the call and get this pet some help,or it will die.You might suggest to the owner to give this pet some baby non-flavored pediolyte so it won't dehydrate and try feeding it some boiled chicken off the bone.Maybe that would pickup its' appitite

I consider Munchkin. to characteristic to that placed up: the different situation is the canines will freak out and require sedation. If a canines has in no way had his nails clipped, I constructive does no longer want a stranger taking fee of it without my say so. some groomers or maybe vets are slightly barbaric - they're in a hurry - so as that they the two restrain the canines with a muzzle that's quite annoying for an previous canines, or sedate - which in an previous canines, has its very own disadvantages. the two way, i does no longer want a stranger taking that process action without discussing it with me. to no longer make too high-quality a component - yet i'm soft approximately this thought that previous certainly everyone seems to be incompetent. Its a sort of bias that i discover too a lot of human beings succumb too. sometime, we are all going to be previous - i think of appreciate for the elderly could be no distinctive than the extra youthful. temporarily - in case you have an thought, be prematurely, and candid and talk it with the owner. handle them such as you will desire to be dealt with. do no longer condescend. Its one element to grant suggestions, and help - yet taking good care of a canines does not mean taking it to the vet or groomer of your determination without talk . I additionally ask the females if she has a vet or groomer - you additionally could make it much less annoying for the canines whether it somewhat is taken to somebody the canines knows or extra importantly the vet knows the canines. do no longer presume issues. ASK. as far through fact the effect, properly, its no longer ideal, a canines can chop up an prolonged nail and which would be painful ...yet whilst the canines isn't shifting around plenty , its in all probability only high-quality. long is subjective - are the nails curved into the canines pads? or only claw like.

If animal control won't come, you might try phoning your local TV station with all the facts. Sometimes they will cover these stories, particularly if you have a record of when you phone animal control.

I would phone animal control every day until they get sick of you. Try to set an appointment with an officer to meet you.

This is cruelty to animals and it is a misdemeanor crime.

From what you say it sounds like he has worms and needs to be wormed. Or it could be more serious. You need to contact the local police or sheriff's department and enlist if your neighbor or animal control will not do anything about it.
You can also contact your local SPCA (SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS) if all else fails.
