You'll probably get a pricey fine, mark on your record and higher insurance rates if they don't cancel you first. Some states will restrict your license due to your age and some states offer defensive driving course to have the ticket dropped for a first offense.

Being 16 is the major problem here. Good luck getting a full fledged drivers license until you are 18 because of this ticket. Also, should you try to get your own vehicle, your insurance is going to be sky high because you will have drivers license points. You need to get a lawyer and get the ticket busted down to just speeding, that way it doesn't give you as many points. See about a drivers school if that will help as well.

I'm afraid there is no best case scenario.

You were 22 mph over the speed limit. Not good. Here where I live, Indiana, you'd get 4 points on your license (out of 8). Automatic requirement for drivers education class, and get labeled on your license as a dangerous driver. If you got any other offense (even a headlight out), within 3 years, you'd be labeled as an habitual offender and have your license suspended for 3 months.

If your insurance company finds out, your premiums will go up a significant amount.

I'd get with your parents and talk to a lawyer on your options.

you have a sparkling record and you're basically sixteen? you haven't any longer had sufficient time to have something yet a sparkling record. i do no longer understand what is going to take place to you---state regulations selection-yet you need to have your license suspended for a minimum of 6-3 hundred and sixty 5 days. perhaps you will remember next time. I relatively have been making use of for fifty years, and characteristic never had a cost ticket.
