I think it is just normal for a woman to always feel that she isn't the right size. However, look around and you will see plenty of so-called overweight women walking down the street with a very nice looking husband. You usually see the thin, skinny women without a man. I believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we should be grateful for what we have. Remember a person can be ugly as sin and be the most beautiful person in the world.

that,s because they have been bullied by people that they are fat, and so end up believing that. infact the thiniest believe they are fat because they have been refused in a modelling stage, they do not believe that being thin is not healthy. they think that men will not appreciate them if they are fat. further more its ok to keep your figure a little bit smaller for the sake of fitting into slimmer clothes. sometimes designer wears do not come into bigger sizes, you see a dress that you like, and you try it, or ask for your size, only to find that they don,t make a size as big as the one you require, what will you do if you try all the nice clothers which are sexy and well designed, of course you will have to lose weight. i am also suffering from the same experience that fat ladies hardly look nice in clothers especially those for a fuller and slimmer figure.

Women have been taught by society (magazines, celebrities, etc) that there is no such thing as "too thin".
a lot of women are very insecure about their looks, and sadly, almost all women will be called "fat" at some point in their developing years by some jerk. (even if they are chubby, it is a cruel thing to say)
Some women really fear they will get heavy, even if they are not overweight, or that they really are.
most do not have a realistic body image.

There are any number of reasons why women say they're fat:
- They ARE fat and are trying to see if it bothers you.
- They WERE fat at one time and were traumatized by people always picking on them. Now, it's one of their main worries that they might be getting fat again.
- They know darn well they're not fat, but are fishing for compliments from you.
- They are not as thin as the woman they just saw in the grocery store/restaurant/car/bank line next to them, and they need a little reassurance from you that you think they're attractive.
- They are worried that they are not at their "ideal body weight" for their height.
- They have an eating disorder and actually see themselves as fat, no matter how thin they are.
- "I'm so fat" could also translate to "I'm worried that I'm not attractive or lovable. Please tell me I'm wrong."

Because they think they should look like the emaciated models in the magazines (through no fault of men). Because they're insecure. Because they want attention. Because they've never been made to feel good in their formative years. Because they want to hear the opposite from you. Because they're insecure. Erm, did I mention the insecurity thing? I'm fairly sure this is where most of the worlds problems stem from. That's all I've got so far, but there's lots more!

Social pressure to be thin. There are also some people who aren't fat but genuinely think they are, an extreme example being anorexia when, at its extreme form, even a skeletal person looks in the mirror and sees nothing except cellulite. :(

Women are very self conscious about the way they look no matter how great others think they look. We look in the mirror and don't see what you do. We each see things differently. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the same is true of how we see ourselves and how others see us.

Because all the women's mags tell us that we're never thin enough, clear skinned enough, beautiful enough, young enough... or just enough! And being the insecure things that we are, we believe it since men all seem to be wanting the skinnier, younger more beautiful ones and no one is there to teel that we're really fine just as we are!

Have you looked at a women's (or men's, for that matter) magazine lately? Girls are brought up seeing images of beautiful, sexy, rich, THIN women in ads and in magazines and in movies. That's who they try to emulate. Even when we are all grown up, we can't shake the desire to be thin. It's sad, and drives many girls and women to anorexia and bulimia.
