if you have that feature, it will not have a designated switch. it will work with your rear defrost switch. Look at the rear defrost switch and notice the symbol on it. It is most likely a box with curvy heat lines(for lack of better description) Your mirrors should also have this symbol on them close to the "objects may appear blah blah..." If you see that symbol on the mirrors, you have heat. If not, sorry.

p.s. Don't trust your manual because they only make one manual but they make many many different options combinations for the car. It won't tell you if you have an option or not.

there is usually a small sign on the bottom corner of the mirror that will tell you if they are heated or not... also the back of the glass, if you can see it, will have 2 wires going to it.

But If I remember, only the top of the line limited and mountaineers have heated mirrors

I would expect, if they are heated, there would be a switch to turn them on. The heated rear window in my Cougar has a switch,

check to see if there is a button to heat them as they won't need heating in the summer time

You can take it apart and look to see how many wires are in it. Or you can go to your local ford dealership. My dad owns one
