becoming a commercial pilot takes tons of work, time and money. You have to start at the bottom, learning to fly little 172's and Pipers and such. Even if you do well in school, the odds of getting a job as a pilot are slim to none. Its a huge competitive field. I am currently at a school of 600 where over 3/4 of the student body are majoring in Aircraft operations! Its a tough field!
good luck!

To become a commercial pilot it does take a lot of time and dedication. You really have to be committed that this is your career choice, as it becomes very costly too. But if you really want to be a pilot for a career you just have to stay very focused and look at the end goal that you will be going to work everyday doing what you love, flying an aircraft.

If you are really serious about becoming a pilot and money is an issue, there are organizations like Pilot Finance that can aid you in paying for flight school, etc...

Good luck and the skys the limit!!!!

you cant just start a captain, u start first a copilot then a captain. but before that you need to study flying. and sometimes it depends on the policy of the airline.
