Frequent power cuts in villages and cities. Please help?

Question

i need 10 reasons for the cuts, 10 concequences and 10 alternatives. Send as many as you can. This is important for me. Please help.

(these are all guesses by the way)

reasons

1. not enough electricity pruduced
2. too expensive to produce
3. power supply system is not effective
4. dmages in supply (broken wires)
5. government not spending money on machines etc..
6. resources like water, coal etc. ran out
7. to save energy
8. too much used and started to ran out (uk might have cuts in 2007)
9. breakdown of a tranformer (in this case it would only be temporary cut)

concequences

1. communication breakdown
2. no light or heat (obviously!!!)
3. food production will go down
4. anything made from machines or robots or any things that use electricity won't work
5. some countries have a routine of having a power cut for an hour every day. this will affect important things like schools..
6. if it is an unexpected one, then people might panic

alternatives

1. use natural sources if run out if sources
2. use solar panels
3. get the government to invest more money
4. get more workers or robots or machines to work
5. use less enrgy, like more effective bulbs
6. repair old ones

Reasons can be many but solutions are few.

My late father used to say when I was small, may come true atleast for Delhi and its surroundings, carry a genset on the back by every one.
