LOL good grief. Life BEGINS at 50. By that time you have (or should have) done all the screw ups had all the rough edges knocked of you, come to a recognition of many things about yourself, and your place in the universe, so to speak, and hopefully learned the delicate art of sorting out the important from the unimportant.
That said, there is absolutely nothing in our genetic make-up that shuts down at the age of 50, and stops us from feeling all the emotions connected to loving another person and wanting to e stablish a solid partnership with that person to make a life together., Unless a particular individual happens to be someone who has simply NEVER gained any maturity over the years, and never learned a darn thing, by 50 he or she should be able to bring to such a relationship a LOT of wisdom and understanding that most people just don't have first time around. In short, you are no longer a "rough diamond" but a "ground and polished" one and will look, and shine brighter for it.

Not over 50, but I do have philosophy on it. YES, Yes YES.

If you commit to a person completely then you will fall helplessly in love with her.

If you have just come out of a relationship then it may be a while before you start trusting and respecting again. But you will get there.

No matter what age you are, there is always someone out there that would love you just as much. The deilema is, trying to find her.

I'm not over 50, but I will tell you that some of the sweetest couples I have ever seen didn't meet until their 50's, 60's, and even a few in their 70's. My grandfather just married a couple a few years ago {he's a pastor}, and they were nearing 70, and he said it was the best love he'd ever seen between two people in his life. :) I certainly do believe it is possible, and have seen it done. I wish you all the best as you look to this possibility again in your life. :) They won't be the person you married before, but you can still be just as happy with someone new, and just as in love, if not more so. :)

Sure it is possible, why not? The only problem is that by then we are pretty set in our ways and making changes are a bit difficult but would be worth it if indeed the person was perfect for the relationship.

i think the ability to like somebody so much dat u wanna fall in luv with em has nothing to do with age. maybe the way u express it changes with time as u mature, but dats it.

The ability to fall in love doesn't die with age.

sure. why not. it's not like we are dead, just a little older. maybe easier for guys than women over 50 as they have gotten cynical.
