We have a beautiful Japanese Chin, but last year when still a puppy but trained, smelled the pine tree connected it to outside and peed all around it. How do we stop this? Do we have to give up real trees forever? I mean he will pee on the table leg if he associates it with outside so if we got a little tree it wouldn't help right now. Please help, I love real trees.

whenever i have a problem with my cats peeing on something i buy a spray from the pet shop called 'GET OFF'. sounds like i am joking but it is an actual product. it gives off a scent that the cats dont like to deter them from peeing there. i have also used it to deter tom cats from my house when my females have come into season. i am not sure what the dog version is called but i do know they have that sort of thing available.

Either put up a kiddie gate around the tree or keep the dog outside until you take the tree down.

Get someone who knows electricity to make a bare wire around the tree so when he pees on it he gets a little shock down there. It will only take once! Be certain not to hurt him seriously!

get him nuetured asap it gets worser!!!!!!! get it asap before different issues take place properly it somewhat is the ultimate and person-friendly thank you to renounce him get a sprig bottle and spray it in his face whilst he does something undesirable and say NO! and don't supply any eye touch what so ever! all they desire is interest and love do no longer teach any interest or love or treats for 10 minutes whilst they acted undesirable to you and if stable teach love and affection and a handle or 2! stable success i very own a super one 12 months previous german shepherd, person-friendly to coach, yet super stressful to deal with, quite in the event that they're nuetured!!!!
