At my work I meet lots of girls 18-22, but hardly any my age. Do you think it is inappropriate to date say a 19yr old?

Legally, 18, emotionally? At 28, you should be looking for women 23 and older, unless they are especially mature for their age. Both men and women tend to do a lot of finding themselves between 18-25, and to get someone too young into that stage, you could really mess up who they are, even without meaning to, because they may join you in with who they think they are, and then if you leave, they'll be lost, because they thought a lot of what they were was with you. Aim for a higher age bracket for now, unless you really want to be talking about freshmen years, and so on with a girl all the time. They will just be leaving the nest, if they haven't so already, they'll be learning how to budget money, get along with people outside their family, and on and on. It's sometimes best to let them do that on their own so they can develop an independance. I wish you the best. :)

I would be resigned to agree with almost everyone else who's posted here. Legally, it's 18 (I'm guessing you're adding a sexual context into this question, so of course, 18 is the answer).

Compatibility shows that you, as a 28 year old male, would find your ideal LTR (Long Term Relationship) with someone within 2 years of your age. So, 26 to 30 (ish). However, that is the rule, and we all know there are exceptions, right?

I still doubt that a 19 year old will be a long term companion, but hey, if you two get along, you like each other, you have things in common, you've already talked about what you would do if you were dating (to be sure you are both on the same wave-length), then there's no reason not to allow yourselves to feel good, right?

Not at all. I was 28 and dated an 18 year old. It worked out just fine for a while. Long story. But age is not that important epsecially as you get older. Just as long as she's of legal age.But whenever you get into a relationship you always run the risk of getting you heart broken.

Even though it's "legal" to date someone who is 18 or 19, it might not always be in your best interest. It depends on whether you want a relationship or just someone to fool around with. Girls who are 21 and over will probably have a lot more in common with you than girls who are fresh out of high school.

legally 18. If it's just dating, no harm in dating the 19 year old. If you are looking for a relationship, I myself, would think it would be better to find someone closer to your age, who has been through some things, that way you aren't dealing with someone younger who is still in to playing so many games.

as long as there of age, kinda feel funny when your friends say hey bring your gf out with us for a couple of drinks and she can not cause 18 and 19 yr olds can not go to bars and drink, maybe want someone 21 or older this way your safe and no one can say you raped there daughter, or you gave alchol to a minor! But if you do not care that you can not go out with her for a few drinks then she is legal age to leave home and is considered to be an adult go for it!

Hey as long as they are 18 and over (LEGAL) then there shouldn't be a problem Some 18 yr old's may be immature so you might want to pick one that is mature enough for you.
