It does sound like Lyme disease. I would definitely get tested. With Lyme, early detection is key in treatment, so you will want to call your doctor immediately, especially if your symptoms began after a tick bite or an unexplainable rash. Please keep in mind though that there are other diseases that can present with similar symptoms such as Celiac Disease. Celic Disease is very common (1 in 133 have it) and it has such a wide array of symptoms that most people don't ever get diagnosed. Many doctors think that the only people who are losing weight and have diarrhea can have CD, but that is absolutely not the case. CD can present as lethargy, tiredness, and joint pains. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia (unexplainable pains) and depression (due to extreme lethargy) and those symptoms didn't resolve themselves until I went gluten free after being diagnosed as Celiac. Now I live my life instead of sleeping it away. Definitely talk to your doctor and if he's not receptive to testing for Lyme or Celiac, find a new doctor. At 15 you shouldn't be going through all of this. The earlier you get answers, the better. If you want more information on Celiac, go to www.celiac.com or www.glutenfreeforum.com.

I had Lyme's disease and the same symptoms. I thought I had early arthritis in my mid 30's. If you live in an area where this disease is common, it's worth having the test done. It's relatively easily cured with antibiotics. I would never have known except that my dog became very ill and was diagnosed with the disease. Once he was diagnosed, I started putting 2 and 2 together, realizing I had been to all the same places as my dog, and I went for the test myself, which was positive. There are other possibilities for your symptoms, but I would be rather insistant about the test for Lyme's if you live in an area where it is prevalent. My doctor initially did not want to do the test since I had not seen the classic rash associated with the tick bite. I am glad I was persistant - and that I didn't really have arthritis at a young age!!

Sounds like the same symptoms I had when I had Lyme. Go to the doctor, even if you find out there is nothign wrong, that is what the doctor is for, and if you have lyme you want to treat it as soon as possible, becaue it will get worse.
I had to limp my joints hurt so bad at times, I would fall asleep as soon as i got home and still be tired the next morning when I woke up.
It is a simple blood test and there is no reason not go to a doctor

Also, I never found the tick on me and did not get the rash until months later (which is when I finally went to the doctor) but I wouldn't recommend waiting that long, I was on medication for a couple years fighting the symptoms.

You should go see the doctor!
It´s hard to say what it could be but they will certainly take you seriously with those symptoms
