I use iPhoto and dabble with Adobe Elements which I find cumbersome. Wondering what other folks us along side iPhoto for editing images a bit more than iPhoto allows.

Thanks,

Andy

Although photoshop is a great software ,but the fact that it takes several months to master it makes it restricted to people whose job is photo editing or design, for us normal people I find Picasa great I would recommend it for every friend , its easy and quick , more over its free unlike the expensive photoshop,
you can get Picasa for Free here : http://downint.googlepages.com/photosoftware

PhotoShop is the industry standard, but it's expensive, clunky to use and has a sharp learning curve. Most non-pro photographers really don't use it's powerful features enough to justify the cost.

With a little skill, 90% of editing can be done with the latest version of iPhoto and Preview. Many professionals actually use these two for quick fixes when the same process in PhotoShop would be a lot more cumbersome and time-consuming. Explore all these can do, since you already own them.

The next step up at a reasonable price is GraphicConverter. Try before you buy.
