What is your boyfriend's middle name? Maybe you could use that, if you don't like any forms of Terrence.
If you like unique names, you could try making a new name from letters in both of your names. Like if the dad's name is David and the mom is Anne, you can come up with something like Davian, or Vianna, by combining different letters.

You could spell it differently or call him something like Terry, Terrent, Terrace, etc... You could also call him junior and they'll assume that his name is Terrence the 2nd.

Since your boyfriend hasn't seen fit to marry you I think you should name your son his own name so if his father ditches him in the future he will not have to be reminded that he is named after someone who didn't have to courtesy to marry his mother.
