I love the strawberry banana side by side milkshakes at steak and shake. Does anyone know a milkshake recipe with similar taste and consistancy? Or do you I have to get a job there for a week and steal their recipe?

I don't think its crazy to ask this question, thats the point of this website.

Anyhow, usually the flavored ice cream is the best to do this. You would have to make a strawberry shake and then a banana shake and then pour them side by side.

To make a milkshake you add the ice cream, some milk, and cream. Then you blend to the right consistancy. You can use a blender but some places sell milkshake machines for like 30 which are great because you can use them for anything.

I hope this helps.

STRAWBERRY BANANA MILKSHAKE

2 bananas
10 oz. box frozen strawberries, partially thawed
2 c. milk
2 pts. strawberry ice cream

Slice the bananas. Combine the bananas, strawberries, milk and 1 pint of the ice cream in blender, in batches. Blend until smooth. Pour milkshake into 4 glasses, top each with a scoop of the remaining ice cream. Garnish with a fresh strawberry.

Start with the ingredients: A banana, some strawberries, vanilla ice cream, milk. In a blender, mix the bananas and strawberries with the milk. Add vanilla ice cream until you reach the consistency you prefer.

Now, would you like my recipe for buttered toast?

*sigh*
