Jesus didn't say it's "impossible" for a rich person to get into Heaven; He said it's "difficult." So long as the wealthy person doesn't idolize their money, and they use their resources to care for those in need, and, of course, are Born Again, they'll get into Heaven.
Peace.

I'm not going to say, I think it's wrong to be wealthy, but it depends on what you do with it, how you live. I think it's a shame that we have soooooo many people in THIS country who are hungry and so many wealthy people. If everyone was doing their part, I don't think this would really be so. Many times people give because they know they'll get it back . Something just isn't right with that picture, but the word of God says, "the poor, you will have with you always..."

There were many wealthy godly people in the Bible as you can read in the Old Testament. Money is not really the issue-- it is how you use them in your life and others. It is the LOVE of money that God is against.
God blesses His people with wealth when you follow His commands. He gives them, but He takes them back also. Many good examples are the Old Testament kings who started in right standing with God, but blew it when they became WORLDLY.
God is the same today--- you can be wealthy and have a personal relationship with Him at the same time. You have to put God #1 in whatever you do. It's the condition of your heart that would lead one to destruction-- rich or poor. *smile*

Reading those answers? Is kinda sad.
I'm an immoral atheist but I think it's wrong to be wealthy when people are hungry. Furthermore, the bible DOES say quite a bit about it.
Bah, now I feel all depressed about the human condition.

We are expected to impart to those in need, but there is nothing against being wealthy. The Bible did say that it is difficult to get into heaven if you are wealthy, but not impossible.

Wealthy is no sin. In one way it is a demonstration of Gods supply in the highest form. It is how that wealth is used.
Each of us must do our own work and demonstrate to the best of our ability that which we need. Be it money, food, clothing, peace, love, stability, etc.

The Bible never said it was wrong to be wealthy... It is wrong NOT to SHARE your wealth among those who are less fortunate..

God wants his rewards to be used properly, if you teach a man to fish rather than give him a fish, aren't you being a good steward?
