Basically, Gieco foundout That my son is a driver, and he isnt willing to pay for the 1000 incresment in his part of the insurance, we basically went from 650 on 2 cars for 6 months to 1500. Now he doesnt want to pay for that, because 1500 is basically 1 months check.

Can I legally have 2 differnt insurance companies on 2 different cars?

Yes, but you need to read your contract, because some of the policies exclude certain coverages if they don't insure all of your vehicles.
