I BELIEVE that it is legal to transport the spores, but not the cultivated mushrooms. Actually, i know its not legal to transport the mushrooms, but the spores should be ok. To be honest, it would be a little difficult to get caught, unless your a total idiot, because the dogs can not detect mushrooms. Whatever you do, dont run a pound of shrooms through the x-ray. No ones going to believe you're just a vegetarian.

Why would you? The Bahamas are so great that you will be on a high anyway.
But yes it's illegal -- it's drug traffic.
I'd rather be at the Bahama beach sipping drinks than spend years on a low in prison...........

DO NOT do it, and here's why:
According to the US State Department,
"Penalties for possession, use, or trafficking in illegal drugs in the Bahamas are severe, and convicted offenders can expect long jail sentences and heavy fines."

It's probably a safe bet that if they're illegal in the States, then yeah...you could be charged with drug trafficking.
