Used to love them about 20 years ago, and nobody in the office can remeber the name of them. Used to have advert on tv with people in green and white stripy tops!
Soft and square like opal fruits but minty!!

Pacers, toothpaste in a sweety, yum. I used to love them too, shall we start a bring back pacers campaign? Mind you they'd only change the name to something naf like striders and make them half the size!!

Opal Mints, up to 1983, then Pacers, as the other answerers have said. Unfortunately, Mars withdrew these back in 1997 in favour of promoting the Opal Fruit Strawberry Variety pack, so Pacers thus have not been seen in our shops since then.

Pacers ! Our school uniform used to have a green and white striped dress and we were called Pacers. I loved the sweets. Then before they stopped making them I remember they stopped being stripey, just white. Very boring!
