He probably meant it that day and just wanted you to change. You shouldn't take it that seriously. Even though he can be a jerk, believe me, i know about jerky bosses or managers, they are like that b/c they are either under a lot of stress, the boss probably yelled at the manager, so he yelled at you, and after they scream, they just want to be on good terms again. Don't take it to heart. In fact, if you had a problem with the way he humiliated you, go up to him and confront him maturely about it. It not only will give be brownie points, but it will soften your relationship more. Don't scream or yell at him either, just be completely calm about it. I did that to my boss after he said something that totally hurt me in front of our manager of the store, and now he doesn't give me **** about anything. If he does, he just asks me politly. Good luck!!

well I think he was sorry and didnt want to say anything to you because he dont want to admitt he made a mistake and that he was wrong for scolding you. I think you should forgive and forget because its not worth holding a grudge

Sounds like you were impressed with him scolding you!! If not, then try to forget about him or find yourself another job...

it doesnt seem like liking to me... seems like he's worried that the harsh scolding he gave u might lead to employee dissatisfaction at work, so hes trying to re establish this employer-employee relationship to aid in working relationships.

well i dont know what others think. mayb they have different opinions to this.

He probably feels terrible and is sort of "feeling out" your anger level towards him. The fact that you're ignoring him is probably making him nervous about his job security because he was out of line!

Sounds like he's sorry and is trying to go out of his way to make sure that you know that he made a mistake and that he regrets it.

I dont think he likes you. He probably just realizes he was a jerk, so he's trying not to be one anymore.
