well, it sounds like you may have committement issues. maybe you feel like you are unable to give someone your complete trust to. whatever the reason may be you may want to look into talking to a professional about this. You don't want to exit this earth and never truly knowing how to love someone unconditionally besides yourself that's not your blood kin. Good luck with this and I hope one day you open up and allow someone into your life.

It is fine as long as the man is happy. If the mans wants a relationship; then there are lots of nice women around and lots of ways to go about finding someone.
I found my husband on Match.com. We have been married 9 years now and we are very happy.
You can meet ladies at church, interest groups, association meetings, at the grocery store, dance groups, community centers; wherever.
Perhaps the man is shy and he will need to overcome his shyness in order to meet a nice lady.

Hun, enjoy yourself and your relationship, NO, there's nothing wrong about that, my friend's uncle was single and never had any serious relationship; until he was 62, & now he's planning getting married next year in May... Congrats.. There's nothing better than been in LOVE, I swear, it's the most beautiful feeling ever..

What is normal? What is normal to one is not normal to others. This sounds like a matter of personal choice, not everyone wants to get married and have children. some people enjoy their freedom and live quite happy this way. God bless

Maybe you have come from some kind of dysfunctional background in the past
not neccessarly from your home but you may have been abused or bullied in some way.
I would say you've just been shy or have been afraid of rejection in the past or your suffering
from social anxiety or some other phobia but are loveshy,
you may need to speak to a medical professional. (Good Luck)

Chester Themolestor...its not normal....no offense but you're at that point in your life where you're pretty close to "death" and if you've gone this far w/out getting married...sorry but i doubt it you'll ever get married. If no one wanted to marry you when you were young what makes you think they'll want to marry you now? sorry but like they say, You SNOOZE U LOOSE.....

If he's a Catholic or Buddhist priest, then yes. Or if he's been 'married to his job' his whole life and never had time for a wife and family.
