this grl at my school alwaysssssssss gets made fun of and after PE when we were all changing she was like. "I don't like my self anymore!!!!!!" and then she started scratching her self really hard and she said, "I'm gonna start scabbing myself". Then she said, "Damn it! My nails aren't hard enough!" and then she changed and left. I'm worried she'll really do it. I mean, no offense, but this grl does really have problems.
What should I do?

Talk to your school counselor about her and your concerns for her.

Honey you are right to be worried. The first thing that you need to do is tell your school counselor. This girl really does need help. She's lucky that you noticed what she was doing & care enough to try & help. Second, maybe you & your friends could include her in some of your activities. I know that seems to be asking a lot, but maybe she could really use a friend right now. At any rate your school counselor has the resources to help this girl. Good luck. It's nice to hear about kids like you that still care enough to help others.Thank you.

You need to tell your teacher about the incidence. Since it happened at school, they will have to be concerned. Also you can become a friend with her. Try to show interest in her and invite her to your house, etc. Find something nice to say about her. Don't lie though. She would know. If people are making fun of her look, help her choosing her clothes, suggest different hair style, etc. She needs friends.

I would def go and talk to the school counselor... i use to do that to myself when i was mad... i would also bang my head against the wall... i didn't know how to express my anger... i felt if i went after the person i was really mad at i would hurt them... its a form of self mutilation... she does this probobly to make the pain she feels from kids teasing her real... or the pain just makes her feel better... its hard to figure it out why a person is a cutter... she does need help... this will eventually lead to more serious things that she does to her body...

Go talk to your school counselor, a teacher, the school nurse, your parents....talk to someone about it....take up for her and tell the others not to make fun of her, she can't help the way things are for her. example....her coming from a low income family, not being as able to do something better than someone else...but please go talk to someone...she needs a friend...

She really needs help. This could be a sign of abuse that she is experiencing at home. Please tell someone you trust like your teacher or principal. this girl seriously needs help. The scratching can lead to her slitting her wrists and other self destructive behavior. So please tell someone so that she can get the help she really needs.

she probably just wants attention. she needs friends. maybe you could get people to compliment her to make her feel better abt herself. if it calls for it, you should even send an annonymous letter to the school councelor so she can get help. you need to do something. if you dont then who else will.
