During your rest period, don't watch TV or get online or eat. Try to walk around and be physical.

study more and take less but longer breaks. you should be able to study for like 2-3 hours and break for an hour because you end up wasting a lot of time during those 2-3 hours. if not, then you need to change what you're doing during those breaks. For instance, do get up to catch part of a tv show or make something to eat because that will definitely run you longer than 10 minutes. if anything, stay in your room and just rest your eyes.

You should be able to study for 45 minutes and take a 15 minute break. As for taking too long to rest, that is a matter of self-discipline. Also, not allowing yourself to be distracted.

I know this because I am supposed to be studying for an exam right now, but I'm answering questions on Yahoo instead! LOL It is easy to be distracted by something that is more fun or enticing at the moment.

Don't fight it. You must need the rest. Try resting for 30 minutes. Set an alarm and you won't worry.

First of all, set an ALARM -- there are so many cheap alarms/watches at this time, that one can easily find one for less than $10 anywhere.
