I want to have another baby hopefully someday soon. My son got his name by accident really and it's a rather long story but it really goes with my husbands scottish/irish background and I would like to keep it that way now. Does anyone know any good but unique Scottish or Irish baby names?

Oh btw, what are your opinions on my son's name....Kellan ????

Be honest! I won't be offended.

I really like the name Kellan for a boy and I think the Irish name CAOIMHE
Pronounced: KEE-va, KWEE-va [key]
Derived from Gaelic caomh meaning "beautiful".would be a nice name for his sister or Lorcan if it is a brother Means "silent" or "fierce" and was probably used as a nickname for a "brave warrior. I wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy and birth
Go neiri an bothar leat

Faith and begora! You want an Irish baby name?
I have included a link that has some Irish names for girls and boys.

Keep in mind that teachers, etc. will need to know how to pronounce the name! (That shouldn't be a deciding factor in name choice, but you may want to have that in the back of your mind).

Kellan is a nice name. The Cleveland Browns football team has a player named Kellen Winslow,Jr. (His name is slightly different from your Kellan)

That's also something to remember- some names are "unisex."
Jordan, Morgan, etc.-

Love the name Kellan. I'm not sure of the origination but I like the names Braeden and Keagan as well.

Check out this other source for baby names... you can search on this site by either name or by meaning
