You can come here from Mexico- you just have apply for a visa
the link below is to the dept of immigration read up my friend
An immigrant is a foreign national who has been granted the privilege of living and working permanently in the United States. You must go through a multi-step process to become an immigrant. In most cases, the US government must first approve an immigrant petition for you, usually filed by an employer or relative. Then, an immigrant visa number must be available to you, even if you are already in the United States. After that, if you are already in the United States, you may apply to adjust to permanent resident status (If you are outside the United States, you will be notified to go to the local U.S. consulate to complete the processing for an immigrant visa.)
A valid U.S. green card also called an immigrant visa allows an alien to become a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. and to work legally, travel abroad and return, bring in a spouse and children and become eligible for citizenship. There is no time restriction for green card holders as long as they are permanent residents living in the United States.
A legitimate green card holder can apply for citizenship after a continuous five years of residence in the United States. There are many advantages to being an US citizen. Click here to learn more about becoming a US citizen. You may also apply for this year's green card lottery where you and your family may be able to enter the United States.
The Immigration Assistance Center informs you into the different types of green cards and produced many packages that contains specific details and all the necessary forms.

Read the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 and find the links yourself.
No one said you cannot come here. We said you cannot come here ILLEGALLY. If you cannot respect the laws of the U.S., we'd prefer if you would stay home.
