My dog broke a glass bowl and cut himself not bad but there is blood on my carpet and couch How do a remove the stains?

My little girl hit her head a few years ago-- lotta blood. The nurses at the ER reccomened peroxide- they said they use it get anything organic our of their clothing. It worked like a charm!

Try peroxide. You can get it almost anywhere. It usually comes in a brown bottle. Poor a small amount on the area, allow it to bubble up, then scrub the area gently with the corner of a towel. You may have to do it a few times to get the blood all the way out.

I recommend getting a pro to come and clean the carpet really good then the blood will be gone from carpet then there will be clean carpet to walk on........ poor pooch.

peroxide works well, but test the carpet and chair for colorfastness - as the peroxide may lighten dark things.

try peroxide, but steam clean it up ASAP or it can damage your carpet.
Why are you removing blood from a carpet anyhow????

If you use tide to go and let it soak it will work and if that don't work use cold water.
