You can't get people ordained but your friend possibly could marry you with a registrar of marriages, births and deaths present. I was married in a Spiritualist church last year with a dear man who married us and the Registrar was there to check that all the legal formalities were adhered to and for the signing of the register. Why not contact your local registry office and find out? Your friend would obviously have to have a copy of the wedding ceremony with all the right legal words. Good luck with the wedding and I hope you have a lovely day with what you want. Be happy x

he may be able to perform the ceremony as long as a leagle registrar is present to ensure the legality of it. you could also look into getting wed at sea. you can marry one mile off the coast by a captain of ship,it may be worth checking out. either way congratulations and good luck.

Yes, providing that they are a recognised minister in their particular denomination and that they are qualified and trained to serve as a registrar. If not you will need to arrange with the local Registry Office for a registrar to be in attendance. There is a charge for this. The rules may be different in other countries.
