Depends on what you did/said to upset them. Saying I'm sorry meaningfully is a pretty powerful thing. There are studies that show if someone (in business) says I'm sorry after messing up - it reduces the chance of lawsuits by 50% - even in medical malpractice suits! So if it can work on people mad enough to sue - it should work on your friend. But sometimes the other person needs time before they can accept it.

Go to the person, briefly explain that you think you upset him-her by accident and ask if you can make it up to them. The matter will probably come to light. The miffed person will probably accept your apology if you give one. Then you've learned something. Life goes on.

Let them know you did not mean to upset them and sincerely apologize. Ask them if there is anything you can do to make them feel better. But remember just because you say sorry they may not accept your apology right away so you may have to say it more than once.

Approach the person with a spirit of love and let him know that you are sorry. In so doing, you are fostering the Scriptural admonishment.."Return evil for evil to no one. Provide fine things in the sight of all men. If possible, as far as it depends upon you, be peaceable with all men."---Romans 12:17,18

I would correct them for getting it wrong by discussion, diagrams and what ever.

After a curtian amount of time, I just say F it!

Of course, there is a fundamental problem with doing this if it has implication on what happens. I hate that gag!

just simply say sorry cause it is an accident so if you are feeling low then it is better to say sorry and if the person is not excepting your sorry then simply leave that particular person cause that person is thinking that he or she will misuse u cause u said sorry so be aware of these consequences cause these had happened to me many times.
