We believe that God (Allah in Arabic since the Quran is in Arabic) created the galaxies, universe, then chose earth to have the living creators. It is written in the Quran, God told the Angles: I will create a human being to populate earth (this is not the translation but the meaning) this is why, I personally, do not believe in any creators on any planet. After creating Adam, He told the Angels: Kneel. All did, only Satan said: "you created me from fire and him from clay; I will not kneel to clay". God replied: "Get out of heaven, you will never see it again, whoever follows you will be in everlasting hell". Then God saw that Adam is lonely, so He created Eve. Then told them: "do not touch this tree". Satan did not like a creature made from clay living in heaven while he is an outcaste. He told both of them: "this tree will make you immortal". They ate it. The Quran never said that Eve told Adam to eat it, Quran said: "both of them".
Through time, people started to worship idols. God sent Prophets, like Abraham, Noah,…then Moses, Jesus and Mohammed, to tell their people do not forget the One & Only God who is worth worshipping.
Abraham was order by God to build the Ka'ba, for Muslims to visit once a year, once in a life time it they are able to. It is not compulsory, but every Muslims wish. We face it when we pray, it’s a form of unity. We cannot face any direction of our own choice. We put our forehead to the ground to remember that we are made from clay; this way the king will not think he is superior to the peasant.
I am not shopping to choose a better religion; I was born a Muslim, I am not going to say that mine is better than other religions. I never criticize others, God made us all; He is the one to judge us. Better than criticizing each other, let's focus on the good deeds we can do in life before we leave it.

The Holy Quran is God's final msg to mankind. You can treat it this way. The First Testament is the beginning. The New testament is the middle And the Holy Qu'ran is the ending that summaries everything. If you really wanna know the true meaning of Islam then you have to study all 3 world major religions and figure it out.
But if its too much for you to input then you can just rely on the Holy Qu'ran. The exact God's word untouched for 1400 years. Muhammad(pbuh) is NOT the author. God is the author. Muhammad(pbuh)'s role is just a messenger who pass these messages to everyone. Just like Jesus(pbuh) did But its currupted by man to unbelievable extent. It's noted that 80% of the Bible is manmade. Thats the reason God gave the last book (Holy Quran) to straighten everything up. And the best part is GOD HIMSELF will protect that book. Not Muhammad(pbuh) not the entire muslims on earth. How? study that.
I'll not quote any verses in the Quran as you are non-believer. Whatever i say you will never believe. But do try to figure it out of knowledge and curiosity. Ask yourself why is it all these 3 religion seems very similar. All 3 came from middle east. Whats seems to be the problem? Why these 3 religion separates? Lastly... why does people say That Islam is the best religion ON EARTH! If you study deep enough, in God's WILL, you'll see the TRUTH!.
I'll GUARANTEE you that you'll find more ans to every of your OWN ques(even personal ques) if you Understand Islam well enough.
I suggest before you start studying on to this, do take some time to know the miracle of that book (Holy Quran)first. Unlike any book available on earth only The Quran have miracles. Not the bible or any other religious books.
Do take note that i did not cut and paste from anywhere. All this is from my personnal experience as i once did act as an athiest to figure out which 3 religion is telling the truth. Then i choose Islam.
I meant well BUT i've no intentions of converting you. Like a teacher who know something the student doesn't know. I know something that you don't know.

I believe that religion is true because of the holy Koran , it is miracle by God . No person on the earth nor devil could come with something similar like it , that`s why God challenge people to come up with something similar to it , they can`t .It is book from God not man made , I shall divide into 1. history book 2. religion book 3. law book 4. medicine book 5. prediction and science. ,put in mind it`s poetic diction .
Muslims believe there is no God expect God (Allah) and Mohammad ( peace be upon him )is his messenger.
Islam mean submission to only one god

Muslims have faith in Allah.they don't seem to be the comparable god.Jesus is a prophet no longer the son of god.We have faith Allah has no kinfolk or toddlers.he's one. 1- God is one: God has sent many prophets and books to reveal unto us his nature and ours. We acknolege the exsistance of angels and that which we can not see.
2- We have to pray to God as he is the supreme the one who created us.
3- We have to give to the poor
4- To perform the Pilgrimage to the House of Allah
5- To Observe fasting during Ramadhan

Jesus(pbuh) warned that another spririt of wikedness was at work in the world the bible sais that we should not follow another gospel even if an angel were to give it ..this is exactly what islam is ...another gospel given by an angel therefore it must be athe antichrist gospel to keep man locked up in there sin
