I wouldn't give him the whole diary. My gf once gave me a few pages of her diary as part of a gift and it was just enough to make me feel special. There are some things we would rather not know. As for the engraved necklace, in my opinion, might be a little cheesy. Instead to something, an activity that he'll remember forever.

I think this is an awesome gift to give him..its from the heart, unique, and one of a kind..
( Trust me, Im 29 and been with the same guy since 1993 )
The most treasured present I gave him was a collage of old Pontiac postcards I collected from e-bay, yard sales, ect. It took me forever to get them mounted and the layout right..he adores it though and it hangs in his office for masses of people to see..directly over his desk..

May you have a long relationship full of lasting love..

Yeah, i bet he'd love to read it. As long as it doesn't have bad things. I keep a journal for my boyfriend to read, because sometimes it easier to write on paper than to say in words. But after he reads it we can more easily talk about things. It's fun.

i wouldn't bother with the diary thing. men are not as sedimental as we are it means more to you keep it and have a keep sake. the necklace thats sounds like a safe and good plan.

I think that may be a little too much. Girls are just way more emotional than men, and if he reads all your thoughts and feelings about him, it may freak him out.
