How much weight should i be able to bench press? Im not that strong. i'd just like to know.. how much could an average 15 year old girl bench?

Every person is different with regards to how much weight they can lift. Even among those who train regularly the difference can be dramatic. Some people train for power, some for endurance, some are bodybuilders, and some for all around strength and conditioning. Typically power lifters can bench the most weight, followed by bodybuilders. Endurance athletes typically bench the least but these are not hard and fast rules. A word of advice, first select the type of training regimen you need to follow based on your athletic and fitness goals and then start charting your own progress. Don't worry about trying to "out bench" or "out lift" the other people in the gym. Focus on your progress toward your unique fitness goals. Good luck.

I was told the minimum for a person should be atleast your own body weight.
