Love is wanting the highest and best thing for the sake of the beloved. A total self giving of all that I have, all that I am, my entire being I give to you because I love you. Love first and foremost is a decision of the will.

Physical love and emotional love can have the same root. They are very important to me.
Spiritual love, comes from our consciousness, and can be highly emotional. It is a decision. It is very important to me.
This is paradoxical question. It is like having a coin called love, and saying, well which is it, heads or tails. Love is both: up a above spiritually, and what I am engaged with physically. Emotionally includes both.
People do make either spiritual love or physical love more important to themselves, and that is their personality, a choice.
I choose both, with emotion.
Take care!

Love is putting the desires, needs, and interest of another person ahead of your own desires, needs, and interests.
Love is not a feeling or emotion, it is an action.
Love for others should be expressed spiritually, emotionally, or physically. None is more important than the other. If one of these forms is missing, love is not complete.

This question has made me very sad. I am not sure that I am capable of physical love in the emotional sense.. Like and respect is all I want to give. Sex is not necessarily love, but it is so much better with feelings.
I do feel love for my son. I have a couple of friends that I love. Beyond that, I am not looking for it. That may not be entirely true, but a fate that I have accepted.
Spiritual love to me means do I love myself and yes, I do. That is why I am so protective of myself.

I will step back and point to 1 Corinthians 13 as the most perfect description of love.

Love is the willingness to forgive when forgiveness is not warranted.
To me, the most important is spiritual love.

The Greeks were smart. They had three words for love. Agape (love of God) Phileo (brotherly love) and Eros (love between a man and woman.) Americans may love their job, pets and family but that makes love more like "admire" especially when we talk about things.
The greatest form of love is what Jesus did. He laid down His life for His friends.

Love has no classifications. It is what GOD is. Beauty is in it beyond expression. It makes miracles possible.
What you like and what you love are two different things. What you like can turn into dislike. But what you truly love always stays.
It makes forgiveness possible. It makes good health possible. It makes success possible. It makes life itself possible. Wisdom itself comes from Love.
