Why do ppl feel the need to force christianity down my throat?

I don't believe in god or whatever, and I feel my life is just fine. I hate it when a million feel the need to force their views upon me. Fine if you think I'm going to hell, so be it. But that would only affect me if I believed that hell even exists. I'm just as good a person as the next except I don't pray or worship anybody like you, so why torture me with your beliefs? I think you would be highly upset if a buddhist constantly forced their religious beliefs on you. WOULDN"T YOU?

You ask why they are forcing "christianity" down yr throat. . .
I tell you why: because they're criminal. No one is to pronounce the name of the HIGHEST, nor to make a picture of HIM / HER. But they are sinners, because they are counting the numbers of HIS wrinkles on HIS face and the number of HIS hairs on HIS head and of HIS beard, and they say they know HIM better, much better than HE knows himself, so they continue to make caricatures of HIM.
As I said: NO-ONE is to pronounce HIS name, but everyone is invited to talk to HIM.

I tell you NO, you are not an atheist. Listen, a human being can never be an atheist. Every human being KNOWS he / she is more than the number of the molecules of her / his body. So you are NO atheist. Religion matters only YOU and HIM. No one else has the right to disturb if not invited by you

I'd love a chance to talk with a Buddhist about his beliefs. I think it would be a wonderful opertunity.

As to going to hell only affecting you if you believe it exists, there you're wrong. Think of it this way, you're in a car, headed to a destination. You believe you're going to drive off a cliff... you're fine with that... you're ready for driving off a cliff... you think the free fall could be fun before the end... then you get to your destination...

where you're torn from the car by four men averaging 6'11", 380 lbs, and 2% body fat, who rip your clothes off you and gang rape you for weeks on end. No cliff...

Did the destination affect you? Hell yes! What it what you thought it was? Hell no!

Whether or not you're going to Hell or not affects you if Hell exists, not if you believe it exists. I'd be pretty sure it didn't before I were so light about it... if it does exist, and you do get there, my little example won't seem so bad when you get there.

NO one forces anything on you bro...............JUST STOP letting faith bother you. Stop geting angry and start getting an eductaed opinion, instead investigate the nature of religion and the origin. It is truly empowering to know more about a subject than any faith can UNDO.

I enjoy christianity now more than i ever did taking anyones word for it. The stories are the trippiest most hardcore stories man can read.

i think these people are just being misinterpreted. They share their views because they want you to have the same life they have. They found joy in their lives and they want you to have that too. Their persistence is just annoying sometimes but i believe they mean well...

Next time they come to you ... say you appreciate the motive but youre not interested in listening at the moment... =)

First of all, you are in the "Religion & Spirituality " forum. so you can expect to hear about God and His love for you and that He wants you in heven and not hell. But it is up to you to choos not to go to hell by accepting Jesus as your savior.

NO ONE is forcing anything on you. You willingly post in the "Religion & Spirituality " forum. No one is holding a gun to your head and craming anything down your throat. You are so very right about the fact that your going to hell is nothing to me, and it will be you who has to experience that, and you will according to the word of God, for those that do not accept His son Jesus as their savior. your not believing that will not keep that from happeing to you.

But take your focus off of your own self,and perhaps all that is being said just might be helping someone other than yourself. Perhaps someone who wants to know how to get to heaven even if you dont what to know it for yourself.

So stop being so selfish, and if you dont' want to read this, no one is "forcing" you to do so. But on the others hand, Perhaps it is God who is leading you into this forum,and for that I praise the Lord!! Whether you like it or not, God loves you because you are worth loving and He does not creat junk.

The best way to answer you is this way, I have Muslims, Athiests, Agnostics, Make-believers, Unbelievers, And just about everything else on this site, & none of it bothers me, I know what to accept & what not to, Now you claim we are cramming everything down your throat, Do you know this is Religion & Spirituality site, Why are you on this site, are you one of those that tries to cram everything down my throat also, Well I am not that easy offended. Evidently you ask a question on this site, & if you did not, then why do you think someone is cramming something down your throat. This site is just like a TV, if you don't like what you see, change the channel.

Some might want to try to save your soul, other might want to debate you on the topic, and some just want to prove your veiwpoint is wrong. For the thousandth time, I really do not care if you believe in God, and I promise I will not force my religion on you.

Exactly how are they forcing their beliefs down your throat? If someone come up to me and insists on telling me what they're physic said that day, I politely tell them it is against my beliefs and I don't want to hear it. If they insist, I simply walk away.

I agree I don't like to people forcing their views on me and insist that I'm wrong for not believing in some god. I especially can't stand it when the jehovah's come knocking on my door.
