What idols do we worship? None. So there is no idolatry in democracy. Capitalism would be a completely different story.

God given free will to human is democracy. However great is the reward for those who submit their free will & chose God & His will, which Jesus did so gallantly.

He would probably think all political parties are useless... According to the Bible, the only Gov't he was interested in was his fathers. And I seriously doubt God is Republican.
