I have a pre-lit tree, which is the best thing they invented for christmas trees. I then put garland or any thing I'm a wrap around the tree. I then add on my ornaments. I've been using the decor from Martha Stewart collection for the last 3 years. They still look great and cute.

My children are 5 and 12-- I have lots of handmade ornaments that go on my tree. There is nothing so special as remembering my oldest as a 3 year old preschooler when hang the angel made from her handprints.

Christmas is a time for family and I celebrate this special time each year.

Merry Christmas and God Bless you and yours!

This year finally I don't have to do it. I think it's better if you have ornaments that have been saved and passed down and then just add a few new additions every year. The white house website has pictures of their past Christmas trees.

well, i have 3, 2 were given to me and i just had to keep them! i have a small one that hangs on the wall in my kitchen and this is my angel tree. it has all kinds of different angels on it with little white balls which i made, gold bead trim and little tiny hearts and stars.

my second tree is a slender one, not too tall, with white snowflakes, clear lights, gold star garland and white candles and pine cones. i usually put this one in the bedroom where everyone piles their coats when they come to visit.

my last tree is hugh, it goes in the den just off the living room where it can still be seen. it has lights of course, pine cones, icicles that i made, red, gold and white frosted beads for trim, and a menagerie of ornaments that my kids have made over the years, and lots of the little toys that they kids get in Happy Meals. They are really cute and my grandchildren love looking for them, such as Snoopy, Winne the Pooh, Babe, etc. I also have balls with each persons name on them and the little picture frames that you can hang on a tree. In the center I always place a Nativity scene ornament that I've had for years.

It takes me all day to do this along with all the other things i put out but i love it and none of it comes down until after Jan. 1st.

I don´t know what I´ll do this year, but my best decoradted Christmas tree was all silver and glass ornaments.
There were very small glass angels and silver beads on a little bonsai artificial tree. It was so pretty and unique.
Whatevery style you choose, don´t forget the real meaning of Christmas is not Santa Claus and trees!!

I like the vintage Victorian style, with a touch of the 50's. Much like I had when I was a child. Decorate with small wooden toys, small Victorian Dolls, candy and fruit and naturally the Christmas Pickle.

The regular glass ones and use tinsel. Ours are all colors. I like to get a real tree though and cut it myself. It lasts longer and does not shed.
