The oceans before the flood were not very salty.
There was no rain before the flood, so little salt was washed into the ocean and seas.
After the flood the oceans have steadily gotten saltier, and the fish and other animals have had time to adjust to these changing conditions.

With the data scientist have over the last couple hundred years on the level of salt in the oceans, they know that they are still getting saltier, and that at this rate they would have been salt free only a few thousand years ago.

They will say god used magic to keep them alive. But if god wanted everyone but Noah/animals dead, why did he not just snap his fingers and have it happen? He could have saved himself trouble. I get scared when I see people actually say they believe in that story. I am an atheist, and this bs makes me more secure in my lack of belief.

edit: tegidfoel doesn't seem to understand osmosis. You kill salt water fish in fresh water, and the other way around.
Even if the fish could have survived, the whole thing is ridiculous. There is not enough oxygen to bond with hydrogen to make that much water. Even if one or two of the details were possible, the story is not.

Fish die for inexplicable motives, except you're a expert Icthyologist, or maybe then.....The Gourami grew to become right into a competent decision. they are delicate tank buddies, breed definitely, it somewhat is relaxing to observe, and are not spooked definitely. in addition they are quite tolerant to temperature variations and average water circumstances. I regularly initiate a clean tank with a Gourami for those motives. once you do locate the ocassional lifeless fish, and you mostly will, learn it. I somewhat have discovered that seamingly harmless fish can turn nasty whilst the lighting fixtures fixtures pass out. some algae eaters are precisely those type of fish. Did the Gourami seem tattered, lacking scales, uh (sorry) eyes sucked out? some injury to lifeless fish does take place post-mortem yet whilst it keeps occurring, suspect a wolf in sheeps clothing. purchase some greater Gouramis in case you like them. you probably did no longer specify your algae eater. i like the little corydoras catfish. quite greater suitable than one. They perch on the backside, yet, type of, college. One is going to the right for a bubble of air and drops back down close to the different. Then yet another will do an identical. they are quite delicate. For an area tank stay far off from the crowd of fish pronounced as Cichlids. some are nasty tank buddies and the barbs, stunning yet nip fins. Neons are good. regularly fish that have been tank raised by using fact the start of hobbyist aquaculture are a competent wager. Male Bettas, on the subject of Gourami, are captivating. yet one to a shopper!! a low priced water high quality tester is a competent investment. examine a sprint approximately consumer-friendly ailments like ich. you will meet this beastie sooner or later. i might wager that your subject grew to become into undesirable success. attempt returned. that's a great activity.

Well, I think in the Bible, it says that NOTHING lived in the water. So fish included. Something bad must've happened to that water so that not even fish could survive. Another one of those unexplainables. Maybe Noah did build aquariums. haha

From what I can see, God told Noah to bring everything in pairs, 1 male & 1 female & 7 pairs of the Clean animals, Now let's go to Gen. 6 The whole chapter, I don't see anywhere that God told Noah to bring any fish on the ark. Why, Because Fish & whatever life was in the seas, how could they drown, the seas is where they live. God did tell Noah To bring in Fowls, everything that creepeth upon the earth(Dry land) & animals, But I don't see any fish, on the ark, Yep, it is worth studying.
