Don't target losing more than about 2 lbs per week. If you try to lose faster, your body will go into "starvation mode" and get very stingy about burning calories while at the same time very efficient about storing any calories that you do provide. And it will make you feel awful.
The most effective way to lose fat is aerobic exercise in the "moderate" fat-burning range, ideally first thing in the morning before you eat. When you wake your body is ready to burn fat and your levels of growth hormone are highest at that time. Later in the day it can take up to 30 minutes just to put your body into a fat-burning mode.
Another overlooked way to burn fat is by lifting weights. Skeletal muscle has very high caloric needs... almost twice that of adipose (fat) tissue. Put on a little muscle and you will burn calories all day even at rest. Be aware that skeletal muscle weighs more, so with this approach you may see your weight increasing while your body fat is melting away. Not realizing this often stresses folks who think they should be losing weight as a measure of fitness. Forget the scale, look in the mirror and you will be happy.

The best plan I know of follows this pretty much:
1.Go get a physical - a tough diet could exacerbate a preexisting condition.
2.Find a doctor that will work with you to help monitor your progress, prescribe a appetite suppressant, and provide a Vitamin B12 shot once every two weeks to offset the significant energy loss when you cut back on your intake.
3. Eat intentionally and consistently - starving yourself will put your body into a panic and cause it to hold onto fat. Eating a small breakfast of oatmeal or cottage cheese, a small lunch of tuna or chicken salad sandwich, and then a lean cuisine for dinner or similar. Eliminate fried food. Don't eliminate a major food group. Snack on carrots or celery.
Let the appetite suppressant do it's job, and don't be surprised if you feel better after a week. Get excited about your success and don't focus on the food you think that you are missing out on.
People often become overweight because food is a priority in their lives, used as a personal reward or to overcome frustration or disappointment. Fill those voids with something else like exercise or going to church.
Whatever you do, be careful not to hurt yourself and be focused to change your eating habits for the better. Otherwise you may get discouraged early or gain the weight back right after you loose it.

dont stop eating that just slows your metabolism you need to eat 6 times a day but eat very small meals the more you eat the faster your metabolism moves and no i am not kidding. drink a lot of water to curb your appittite. And excercise. and if you have sex be on top it requires more exertion and it is a great way to lose weight and have fun to. As far as the strech mark try coco butter soap or lotion. But in all actuality your weight should not be an issue i am sure you are beautiful anyway.

Oh my god you CAN TOTALLY DO THIS!!! sorry excited for you ...LOL.
That's about 10lbs a month...which would be totally safe & healthy.
You said that you don't eat that much..but that may be part of your problem...in order to speed up your metabolism you will need to eat small meals throughout the day....I highly recommend about every 2 to 3 hours NEVER go past three hours without eating!!
BASIC RULES EATING:
1. Buy a 1qt bottle of water and DRINK 2 a DAY! (no less) you can buy those huge ones and just fill it up twice :) simple.
2. No meat bigger than your palm.
3. Veggies you MUSt EAT AT LEAST 2 TIMES A DAY
with whatever meal you pick to eat them with make sure they are about 2 PALMS. SALAD you can eat basically as much as you want but ONLY FAT FREE DRESSING :(
*this might sounds small but remember you are eating about every two hours so keep them that size...5 to 6 meals is your target*
4. Totally okay to replace a meal with a shake...I recommend EAS LITE MYOPLEX shakes. The strawberry mixed with peanut butter (your peanut butter is AWESOME)
RULES: NO FRIED FOOD....NO JUNK NO CANDY. PERIOD.
however ONE DAY A WEEK you choose the day....you can eat whatever you want....ONE DAY ONLY. (trust me this works I SWEAR) but you must be good the WHOLE week or you loose the day :(
5. Stay away from juices and sodas etc..they are high in sugar and carbs and calories...people forget about juice. Once in awhile as part of your meal a glass of juice is fine (small) but other than that STICK TO WATER. OR ICED TEA no sugar!
And in final on the food....do NOT skip a meal.
PS if you drink Starbucks go NON FAT LATTE w/sweet n low or BLACK or Black with NON FAT MILK
EXCERCISE:
5 to 6 days a week if you can really....Mornings are BEst...but whatever you can do DO.
do 20 mins MINIMUM of either Running, Cycling, Aerobics, Kickboxing, Swimming ..Skating whatever you can do Even a video at home (I like Tae Boe) you have to do this at least 3 days out of the 6 but if you can do it everyday that's fine also.
You must do weights...of some type whether it's the bands...(the rubber resistance ones) Or free weights or whatever at the gym...
Do upper body one day and lower the next then upper
Gosh I could just go on and on....so I am going to give you a link that changed my life....k? Those are the basics though. :)
Remember your 6th day NO excersise eat whatever you want!
Look if this is all too hard for you Really the best way EASY aside from the above is WEIGHT WATCHERS ....the POINT system...I SWEAR you will loose it but you MUST excersise if you want to meet your goal. Rembmer 60% food 40% excersise :)
