Im really wanting to lose weight but I am struggling. My hubby can "diet" for a week and see results but me I feel like I cant get anywhere. Ive been using the treadmill for 30-40 mins a day 4-5 days a week but my diet has been all over the place. I believe I have cut the calories due to the fact that I havent been binging like in the past and have stopped drinking on the weekend but still see nothing. I cant help to be jealous of my husband and I think that is affecting me too. I just need some advice......

Try to add some strength training to the daily workout. It doesn't have to be super heavy weights, but mild muscle-toning excercises would work. Strength training raises the metabolism, just like aerobic excercise, but unlike aerobic excercise, strength training will keep your metabolism up for hours after you stop excercising. This will help you burn more calories more quickly.

it all boils down to burning more calories than you take in.

that is it. believe me i know-i have lost as much as 80 lbs then
gained it right back when i decided that eating extra calories
was more important than my health.

count calories-exercise-count calories ,count calores ,count calories.

ps-do not guess on calories-know exactly!! i belive this is where many people mess up-plus i belive it gives a perameter that helps to boost discipline.

the truth is that you can lose by diet or exercise or both(which is best)- i personaly have lost a lot in the past 3-4 years on the alkalarian diet popularized by Dr. Robert Young.
