the distinguishment between Sunni and Shia Muslims is the succession of authority after the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Sunni's believed the next leader should have been the most knowledgable companion of Muhammad whereas the Shias thought it should be a descendant/relative of the prophet's. The fundamental beliefs are the same within these sects, just succession of authority differs. Islam is the last guidance from God and is the true faith to be followed if you want to enter paradise and not hell.

Yes there's different sects of Christianity and Judaism aswell, it doesn't mean the religion is not true, it just means that 1 of them are following the right path and the others are misguided. This happens because people decide to take charge and change some things around about the religion, which is clearly wrong. I used to be a shiah muslim, but now am a sunni because they added their own parts to prayers and stuff which is just stupid.

Hey!

Well, I assume that Christians have got also Catholics and Coptic and as you go counting its the same with Islam there's: Sunni, Shiite Druz and more.

I am a Sunni Muslim and I totally believe that who ever agrees with the beliefs of the 5 Pillars of Islam is a real Muslim.

We Muslims believe that Islam is the true religion based on what we read in Quran and we get from Hadith.

Your confusing yourself Islam is a true religion and if you actually had some knowledge of your question before asking it you would know there is only one version of Islam that we all follow, the differences between Sunni and Shiites are minor like way of prayer. We are more similar than different.

Please the spelling is Sherzade. If you would have the grace to listen to the news as to Iraq if you have not noticed there are occupying forces in Iraq, just to refresh your memory Sunni's and Shiites lived side by side before the invasion i wonder what happened or who is causing the killings?
Food for thought?

You can reconize a tree by its fruits.

So Religion is the same.
True religion is a group of people that promote love of each other and there neighbours.
Do not get involved in wars killing people of their own religion in different countrys.
They are morally clean people have deep respect for family life.
They base their way of life solely on God's word and NOT on traditions of past religious idea's.
They are aware that religion is about to be distroyed and are campaining to make sure everyone know's.
If they haven't knocked on your door they will stop you in the street.

Im sorry to say that this profile doesn't fit islam or many of the christain religions or any other.

If you haven't guessed it yet you will all know soon enough. Revelation 4v11.

Of course Islam is a true religion, as is Christianity and Judaism. They are the three Abrahamic faiths, which have been seeded from Abraham.

I have a copy of The Holy Bible, my Siddur Lev Chadash (Jewish prayerbook-I am Judeau-Christian by birth), and a copy of the Holy Quran. As far as, I am concerned they are all equal and all worship the same G-d, although know Him differently, and yet some aspects are the same.

As far as, I am concerned they are all valid and are all true.

Truth is where two or more gather to affirm it and to act on it physically. Now there are many people who physically act on varying different religious beliefs, such as some that are Islamic. Are they functional for civilization, man getting along with man, without killing or feeling like it is eventually their duty to do so? Those who worship eternal damnation as if it were the truth, worship the worst kind of hate and disdain for society! So are they true to me, nah. But do they need dismantling or overhaul? Definitely. We need to remove the belief that some person has to be it and that everything they say has to be the truth. It is too dangerous in our society with weapons of mass destruction, to hang on to these ideologies of eternal damnation any longer...and it is rediculous to boot!

Has it ever crossed your mind why the middle east is so forsaken? The devil offers chaos.Granted, there are some descent people living in that part of the country, but Allah is not a healer and never will be,nor is Muhammad.Muhammad couldn't defeat death, hell, and the grave, but Jesus did.If Allah was a healer and had compassion for his chosen,it would be a different picture over there.
History always repeats itself.Islam has been driven out in the past, and will be driven out again. Not by outsiders, but by their own hand.
Jesus came back once.He will return very soon.

have u ever looked @ quantum physics?

it states that light exists as particles and in a wave form. however the scientists all kno that light CANNOT BE BOTH, similar 2 what u r sayin abt religion.

the same scientists however have had 2 agree that its the experiment that determines what u see, as well as what u r lookin @.

my point is maybe the different factions of islam, and of religion in general, fit those who r in it.

after all, religion in general is a reach 4 the same thing, the only "sensible" explanation in my head 4 the different approaches is b'cos they fit different people.

There IS no single 'true' religion. ALL religions are man's attempt to reach out to God. But NO MAN can come to the Father except by the Son. Only through a personal relationship with the Living God can anyone hope to reach Heaven.

The good news is that no matter how badly you foul up, that Relationship will see you through.
