This is the one I always use:

2 cups sugar
1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
1/2 cup Pet milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups oats

In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except peanut butter and oats and cook over medium heat. Let boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and oats.

Spoon out quickly onto wax paper or aluminum foil. Cookies will harden as they set.

We call them Boiled Fudge Cookies and they take only a few minutes to make : Boiled Fudge Cookies 2cups sugar 3 tbs. cocoa 1/2 cup milk Mix and boil 1 min Add: 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 tsp vanilla 3cups Old Fashioned Oatmeal(not the 1 min kind) Stir and drop on wax paper to cool. We don't always use wax paper I use a biscuit pan or pizza pan, I don't like to put anything hot on wax paper because I think it melts the wax onto my food I might be wrong but that's the way I feel. But anyway you'll love this recipe be sure not to cook your oats to long or they will be gooey
