By dying. It is the same for everyone, Christian or not..

A grace-filled soul rests peacefully at the foot of Jesus' holy cross, and possesses a very reasonable hope of salvation, while a corrupt soul has little or no peace while on earth, and is likely to experience eternity in much the same way.

After becoming baptized in faith and by water, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, a Christian does whatever is necessary to persevere in God's grace and peace, all the days of his/her life.

Some Christian groups offer more help than others in this regard, and since the earliest days, Jesus, along with the work, worship, and sacraments of his holy Catholic Church, has truly led the way.

1Ti 2:1 I desire therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all men:
1Ti 2:2 For kings and for all that are in high station: that we may lead a quiet and a peaceable life in all piety and chastity.
1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour,
1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Only those who are obedient to God while living on earth will receive a reward in heaven. There the righteous who have been saved and made perfect by God will enjoy eternal life.
Philippians 3:14,17,20 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.... Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you.... But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, (NIV)

by understanding what jesus was ACTUALLY preaching and not succumbing to the hype:

christ's sufferin on the cross was the closing of the karma of his soul, possibly 4rm a previous lifetime.

he aided us 2 perceive how we can heal our souls, by takin responsibility 4 our actions right down 2 our intentions.

EVOLUTION 2 the next stage of existence is dependant on us actualising our negative karma with understandin and accurate response.

christianity owes the perception of christ being the only way 2 heaven to an attempt 2 understand the significance of what jesus did on earth.

those left behind knew the work he did was essential 2 mankind's evolution, but they didnt know how. in an attempt to understand, religious scriptures and rumours of the christ's significance were consulted.

the only issue with religious scriptures is, once something is written, there is fear (which is un-Godly) 2 change it. once a fixed interpretation is accepted, this fear heightens. the by-product of such fear can be seen by the many factions and divides that exist within christianity.

these scriptures, once interpretted, brought the vision of christ being the one who would take away our "sins". the interpretation/scrpitures omitted the fact that we r responsible 4 evolving 4rm our shortcomings.

just 2 recap, EVOLUTION 2 the next stage of existence is dependant on us actualising our negative karma with understandin and accurate response.

I believe that NO MATTER WHAT you do here on
Earth or DON"T do is not what gets you to heaven.
Accepting Jesus as your saviour, admitting you are a sinner and bound for hell unless you accept Jesus. Know that he dies on the cross for your sins (YES_ALL of them). Is what gets you to heaven. It is so simple. It does not mean you never sin again

You have to accept Jesus as your savior, become born again, in order to become a chrsitian before you can get into heaven.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Just believing in God does not make a person a Christian. Even satan believes in God and he certainly is not a Christian.IF you want to know Jesus as your personal Savior, and become a born again Chrsitian, read on...Here is your way to obtain salvation, by sincerely saying this prayer, and mean it with all your heart and soul...

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always." In the precious name of Jesus, amen

Did you pray this prayer? I pray your answer was YES

Their theory is that they get to heaven by having faith in Jesus.

My theory is that if there is a heaven you get there by being a good person.

My theory has about has much solid proof as there's but I like mine better.

Romans 10:9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
