You cannot "reduce" the stomach. The idea that a stomach shrinks or expands is an old urban legend. What does change are the chemicals in your bloodstream that tell you whether you're hungry or not.
You're doing the right thing. Breakfast should be the biggest meal, followed by a moderate lunch and a light dinner. (You're sleeping - you don't need much energy at night.) The BEST approach is 5 small meals a day. Grazing lightly over the day is better than gorging yourself.

You have to watch the salt content in soup, it can actually make your stomach look bigger!! Sometimes even the soup that says low-sodium on the label will have more salt than regular soup. Your best bet, if you want to eat soup, is to go with water or broth based kinds.
A tip for you that works for me: Drink a large glass of water each night before you go to bed. At least 16 ounces. It will help flush you out overnight, and you'll wake up with a flatter tummy. It will also help stop late night cravings.
For emergency purposes, if I know I'm going to be wearing something that I need a flat stomach with the next day; I'll drink a beer or two for the water-loss the night before, plus a bunch of water. You can lose 3 pounds of water that way!

I'm not a big believer in all those diets out there. I think you should start eating healthy foods (fruits, vegetables, lean meats, etc) and exercise. Cardio is great to loose weight and sit-ups, and crunches and great to get shrink that tummy.
Starving yourself or depriving yourself of food is not the healthy way to go. Plus, if you do loose weight on those types of diets, once you start eating again, the weight will be right back on and then some.
Good luck!
