The girl told him she cares the other guy too much so the BF said no more contact with the guy!

Nope. Let the relationship ride it's course-cause it is doomed for failure. Just let her know you will be there when she needs you. (as in when they break up, which is bound to happen)

I have been hurt many times by wayward women and i am a bit "over-protective" myself these days. I suppose if she is worth being with she is worth trusting. Hard 2 get that trust back after u have been hurt tho. Would never tell a girl who she can and cant talk 2 but i do always keep a close eye on how good a friends they r.
